Yamada (sometimes with Chinen) and the Gang
Warning. This is a rant.
Okay I prefer to call HSJ (Hey! Say! JUMP) Yamada and the Gang since obviously every time the group performs something, Yamada mostly gets the exposure. It’s like a one man (or maybe two if you put Chinen with him) band with nine (or eight) extra back-ups. As if Ryosuke (and Yuri) is (are) the only one (ones) who has (have) fans. I admit, I know he (they) has (have) gazillion of fans but that doesn’t mean that every time the group performs, the camera only focuses on him (and sometimes with Chinen). Yeah, he (they) is (are) not the one (ones) at fault here but the staff and obviously the cameramen who keep on focusing on his (their) face (faces) as if they have a big crush on him (them). Johnny please take an action to this rant! Haha!
Why don’t they just make Yamada a solo artist? Oh wait, he has NYC right? Aren’t his air time not enough?
Let me clear one thing first before you curse me. I don’t have any grudge on Ryosuke Yamada (or Yuri Chinen). In fact, one of my best friends is so addicted to him (and my cousin is addicted with Yuri). I definitely know why there are lots of fangirls out there who admire and idolize him (them) so much. He (They) is (are) extremely hot and cool, I cannot argue on that. What I just want is for the whole ten Hey! Say! JUMP members to have a fair share of exposure. A single member doesn’t need to stand out that much because in a fangirl’s eyes no matter how short her bias get exposed, her bias would always stand out.
